Job-Site Truck Rack with Cab Guard
The Standard Rack comes with an expanded metal Cab Guard to protect the cab and its occupants from cargo flying forward and crashing through the rear glass. It also serves to reinforce the strength of the crossbar and bind the fully welded sides of the rack together more securely than any competing rack that can be shipped today
* Load limits assume distributed load and use of the truck cab guard.
For the Job Site Truck Rack, the 1,500-lb. load rating is for the model with cab-guard with mesh and based on load being distributed along and between all three crossbars with no more than 750 lbs. on the middle crossbar, 500 lbs. on the rear crossbar and 250 lbs. on the front crossbar. This truck rack can be purchased without expanded metal in the cab guard ($75 discount) but the load rating is limited to 1,400 lbs. with the middle crossbar limited to 650 lbs. This capacity is also limited to an unknown amount by the strength of body of your truck to sustain the weight of the load under field conditions.

Heavy Duty Truck Racks™ products are warranted for a period of one year against all structural defects in materials and workmanship provided that they are assembled, installed, and used in accordance with all manufacturer’s specifications and instructions. Because of varying environmental field conditions Heavy Duty Truck Racks cannot warrant the powder-coating on its products.
